AboutIn 2015 Amy's doctor recommended that Amy should take up Pilates to help her recovery. After receiving the many benefits for both the body and the mind, she enrolled in Balanced Body Education, a teacher training program, so that she could help share the same relief she found with others. Amy has been teaching Pilates since 2016. She has taught a wide range of ages and physical levels since then. Amy believes in making each client feel welcomed regardless of where they are in their journey all the while educating them on the importance of the exercises.
She continues to keep her continuing education on point whether it is in movement, or in science, she is always striving to apply what she learns.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Physics.
Amy appreciates nature and loves to be outdoors on the trails either hiking or running them. She especially likes the ever so green forested trails at Mt. Tamalpais. When Amy is not studying, outdoors, or practicing Pilates you can find her experimenting with a new dish, or dessert in the kitchen. She loves to share treats with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading books on her field of study and planting a vegetable garden every Spring, as well as, spending lots of time with her siblings and four dogs. Whatever she is doing she loves to do it with a smile.
